6,700m² new building to house Lincoln University Architecture, Media & Communications faculty. Building form and orientation
is designed to act as generator for future development between an existing waterway & railway line, to preserve view corridors
of Lincoln cathedral and to initiate connections between the new campus and the city. Accommodation comprises two lecture theatres,
performance space, exhibition areas, café, workshops, offices and architecture studios. Spaces are arranged around a central
circulation atrium with cascading stair rising five storeys up to drawing studios and roof gardens. Cellular office space is
located on the south and teaching facilities on the north side with high-level bridges connecting levels across the atrium.
Finishes include insulated external white render & exposed concrete.
